+ItsMeDave Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 2 finds and 2 DNFs, and I notice now that one of my DNFs is now archived because it appears to have gone missing. I was only out for a couple hours and all 4 caches were located in Stanley Park, but it was a lot of fun. I'm really impressed with my Vista C, today was my first chance to really use it and it performed pretty good under to tree canopy in the park. cheers Quote
+El Diablo Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Welcome to our family. As you go along the DNFs will be less. El Diablo Quote
+Milbank Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Welcome and Congrats on the finds. Have fun and enjoy.. Quote
+Airmapper Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 The were welcoming me only a few weeks ago, now it's my turn, Welcome Quote
rontr Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 I am also new here. I found one cache today. It was pretty easy. I have a new Legend C which I also really like. Glad you had a good day! Ron Quote
+loungelions Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Batting .500 isn't too bad for your first day. We did a couple in Stanley Park about 2 weeks ago and managed to find them but one of them took a long time due to the tree cover. Welcome to geocaching in Vancouver...there are some ingenious caches out there. Quote

The Vista C is a remarkable GPSr if equipped with CitSelect and TOPO's, you may want to look into those programs. Quote

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Quote
