+t-xman
I've just created and made available at crosman.org , a Palm app for documenting new caches. I call it 'Cache In'. Its a free download. Let me know if you find it useful, and how to improve it. There is also a free hint decoder on the same page. Quote Link to comment
+Wacka
Please post some screen captures or descriptions on your page. I don't want to download a file without seeing what it is. Edited September 22, 2005 by Wacka Quote Link to comment
tossedsalad
Can you explain what you mean by "documenting new caches"? Are you saying this is useful when you are placing a cache and want to record the info about it? Is it a database sort of thing or just formatted notepad? Quote Link to comment
+t-xman
As the page indicates its 'under construction' I plan on added more documentation this weekend, including screen captures. Documenting new caches means capturing the data you would enter into the geocaching website while you are out in the field. It is much more than a formatted note pad extension. By Sunday there will be screen shots. Quote Link to comment
Cracker.
Hmmm...now this sounds like it might be useful.... I've had to make an extra trip or two back to a possible new cache spot while planning out my caches, because I forgot to write down some important info, or just plain lost the piece of paper... Hmmm....something useful to have it do would be to average coords from several readings for you, while you are right there planning out the new cache... Quote Link to comment
+t-xman
I've posted a complete (IMO) user's manual with screen shots. Users manual Yet todo complete installation instructions, although this should be obvious, and a EULA. Edited September 24, 2005 by t-xman Quote Link to comment
+ATMA
Looked at the manual. Seems like a nice program but your link to the file is just a blank page. Quote Link to comment

+ATMA
Thanks for the link fix. I will check out how it performs on the Palm. Quote Link to comment
+t-xman
Hmmm...now this sounds like it might be useful.... New button next to the Longitude data entry: "Multi" lets you enter as many associated waypoints as desired. Clicking apply on the associated window applies the average of those waypoints to the main coordinates. You can also save the associated waypoints without applying them the the main coordinates.
