+frefel
As described in a previous post I tried to drag and drop a GPX file into Google Earth on my DT; nothing happened. Can someone please explain how to do this and what else one can do with GE? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
HugoOne
Open Google Earth. In the menu top left File / Open... In the window that comes up at the bottom select "Files of type" GPX When the file is opened in the Places tool under Temporary Places you'll find GPS device, under that you'll see your Waypoints, Tracks and Routes PS just tried it and drag&drop should do the same so you probably just have to look at the Temporary Places to see your data. Good luck Quote Link to comment
+Gener_Lee
Not really important, but are we talking about the Free Google Earth, or one of the upgrade levels? If so hopefully the $20 and not the several hundred one Thanks Quote Link to comment
Hoary
Works fine in free version. Quote Link to comment
+Airmapper
This sounds interesting. Is Google earth free? (A version of it anyway) And it can be used for caching? How do you set this up? Quote Link to comment

Thanks anyway. have a look at this thread: http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.ph...er/102677/page/ you'll have to wait for the images but you could still be in awe of Google Earth Quote Link to comment
+Airmapper
Google Earth looks good, if I get a new computer it will probably be one of the first things that gets installed. Will have to stick with terraserver for now, even that is slow. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
