+Let's Take a Hike
When logging a find one can add a waypoint to the log. I did that but I don't see that anything has been added to the cache log. So what is the add a waypoint all about? Quote Link to comment
+welch
If you choose to, you can add a coord to the log. Either by just putting it in the text area of the log, or by selecting that link (so the page will reload with the extra fields), Then you just fill in the coord and post the log as usual. This is often used if you find the cache a large distance from the reported location, and want to attach what you think the coords actually are. Like I said you could just put this in the text, but using the add coord things puts it at the top your log entry and in bold. Quote Link to comment

It's right there: While there are a number of uses for the coordinate entry, its original purpose was for recording coordinates for locationless caches. Quote Link to comment
+Let's Take a Hike
I got mixed up between the two Follow the Trail chaches and was checking for the coordinates on the WRONG ONE. Quote Link to comment
