What About Existing Virts/locationless

Recommended Posts

Okay, this looks cool, and hopefully puts to rest a lot of the angst that's arisen in recent months... My question: If there are locationless and virts that already exist to cover the cagegory I have in mind (Railroading) do the owners of those 'caches have first crack at the category, or if the category is accepted, do their 'caches get moved into it... or....

ehhh.. to a point; I guess my question, rephrased should be: Since my category would cover several different virt/locationless, should I wait or not?

I was going to suggest the older one until I noted that the two caches were placed on the same day! Probably explains why there was 2 approved - at the time they were both new locationless caches.

I think that the general idea is that a category shouldn't be overreaching. So if there is a variation of a theme (like trains) you could have train platforms, train museums and train graveyards as separate waymark categories since they can co-exist. But we're still working through the process or whether there should be a process at all.
