+blazius
GCPA06 Nord-norsk event was held yesterday at 68° 39.714 north. The most senior attendant, GeoPirat, suggested that our event was likely to be the northernmost geocaching event ever. Does anyone know if events have been held further north? Quote Link to comment

The climate is not that harsh here - have a look at the pictures in the event gallery. Next year the event will probably be in Tromsø (N 69° 39.764) or even Longyearbyen (N 78° 14.726)... Longyearbyen is quite more "arctic" than the northern coast of Norway, but it is easily reachable by daily planes. Quote Link to comment
