This idiot left this delightful log on my cache. Is there anyway GC.com can ban him to stop him doing it to others.

 

I've heard it is possible for the powers that be to ban specific IP addresses. Is this true?

Apologies. I deleted the log and as I could still read it, I assumed that anyone logged on could also see it. It went as follows (not pleasant reading!):

 

You bostard! you left the light on and it phucking wasted the battery on the torch. Ari&Anu left some faeces in the tupperware box and the amigos left their homemade juice on my fingers. Up yours homie!

 

I'm assuming its a bloke as somehow I don't see a woman doing something so stupid or childish as this (and I'm male for the record).

Just wondering, does geocaching.com filter user names? For example, if someone tried to sign up with the F-word as part of their user name, would the site return an error saying the name is unacceptable? I know I wouldn't want to see profane user names, and I'm sure parents wouldn't want their kids to see that either.
