+Hemlock Posted July 2, 2005 Share Posted July 2, 2005 Email addresses are verified when they are initially entered here, and also when the site sends out an email to a user (such as for a watchlist) it keeps a record of bounces. Too many bounces and the account is invalidated. So if someone's email works initially, but later it doesn't, it will take a while (weeks? months?) for the site to notice. If you suspect abuse, send an email to contact at geocaching dot com. Link to comment
