Is HQ doing something special tomorrow (I.e. Souvenir or Challenge or cache related?) I can’t find anything when I search.
Thanks!
There is no souvenir or challenge associated with World Frog Day.

The bug that affected the old dashboard is not related to the Tech Migrations project. If there are any further comments about the old dashboard issue, please direct them to this thread.

Engineers have identified and now fixed a bug that was impacting the old dashboard.

The reviewer did provide the specific reason why the cache listing is not currently compliant with the commercial guidelines. There is a link to a web page that is full of advertisements. You need to remove that link.

The OP has since posted in the existing thread, so I'm closing this one.

I just checked and found that you received two detailed responses to your questions -- but you have continued to send multiple emails because you did not like the responses.
The answers that you originally received (stating that your cache will not be unarchived) will not change and so further responses to you will likely not be helpful.

cerberus1 is correct.
Noted in the Read First! Geocaching Frequently Asked Questions thread:
Premium Membership trials:
Currently, 7-day trials are available for users who have not previously had Premium Membership by contacting Geocaching HQ via the Help Center.
However, you have previously been a Premium member, and so you would not be eligible for a free trial.

How will we be able to search for events with this status?
HQ maintains a List of Upcoming Mega/Giga-Events/Block Parties. When new events with Block Party status are published, they will be added to that List.

As HHL noted, we should avoid potentially spoiling puzzles by referencing GC codes in this way, so we'll close this thread.

Please see the original post, which notes that the release is gradual over the course of days. This is so that the release may be adjusted if significant issues arise. It's random selection and not a matter of privilege.

Interesting as I've been checking for the last 24 hours and have only seen a list of friends. Are you sure you weren't looking on the website?
I wish HQ would respond:
a. We spoke too soon and the icon is not yet on the app.
or
b. You're all blind. It's right on the app where we said it was.
It was an error in the blog to state that the leaderboard was in the app. Sometimes the leaderboard is in the app if there is a special leaderboard promotion, and the blog author thought that was the case here. The blog is being corrected now.
To give some context, we generally aren't able to follow all forum threads to seek out questions like yours. I looked up your email to HQ and you didn't actually ask a question, nor did you mention that the blog had indicated that the leaderboard was visible in the app. Instead, you expressed surprise that an announcement about the leaderboard had not been made. Since there was no question asked, I don't think the Lackey who saw your ticket could have known to look into the blog issue.

I'm unclear why the original post got a "Surprised" reaction from someone. What's surprising about asking about EarthCaches in the EarthCaching forum? It's a good example of why we've been thinking about removing that reaction option. But I digress...
I was at the West Bend Mega-Event in Wisconsin and chose a nearby EC that focused on some erratics. I chose it mostly because it was uncomplicated besides being nearby. I've found myself skipping a lot of ECs lately due to lengthy lists of questions and/or dense subject matter. But this one was simple enough so that my caching companion and I could complete it in 10-15 minutes.

Finally I got the streak star easy souvenir today, but that APE souvenir is still there. Of course I could hide it, but then what happens if I actually earn it by finding an APE cache?
I hope they fix that as well and remove the erroneously assigned APE souvenir.
See the response in this thread.

I have some EarthCaches in the review queue. [3 of them] All I say is be patient. I did this a while ago, it was in the queue for 25 days. I thought this was a bug, So i archived the caches.
I took a look at your previous EarthCache submissions. None contained an earth science lesson, so they would not have been published. The reviewer didn't get a chance to tell you that because you archived them all within 3-8 days of submission.
Your current EarthCache submissions also do not contain earth science lessons, so they won't be published in their current form. I suggest reading the EarthCaching guidelines before proceeding with future submissions.

Ideally, the cache owner should monitor logs on the cache page and delete them when necessary. When that does not happen, you may contact HQ for assistance at contact@geocaching.com.
We won't be publishing this post since it includes screenshots of the problematic logs, and includes usernames. Hopefully my answer above suffices. But if you would still like to open a discussion in the forums, you may post again without the screenshots or usernames.

So is this what Waymarking uses for their IT War room for communicating break/fixes and what upgrades are being pushed.
There’s a lot of love for Waymarking at Geocaching HQ, especially between bootron (who built Waymarking from scratch as his first core responsibility here many years ago…he’s now HQ’s Director of Engineering) and one of our founders, Bryan, who is a Waymarking category officer. Despite that love, our limited resources are devoted primarily to Geocaching and Adventure Lab at this time, and have been for many years.
The recent changes and updates that you’re seeing are the result of work that bootron is doing on his own time, largely on weekends. Since the work is not part of the standard HQ Product process, the release notes, such as they are, come directly from bootron as he’s able to push out updates.
Personally, as one of the waymarkers at HQ, I really appreciate what he’s doing!

Bl4ckH4wkGER is correct about the FCCA law (in Germany), but memberships purchased prior to March 1, 2022 aren't subject to the change in the autorenewal rules - this message is incorrect and we are in the process of fixing it.

Why was the annual payment for the premium membership switched to the monthly payment method in this context?
I'm not sure I understand your question. Could you clarify?

Thanks for your comments and for fixing!
Still there should be a faster and more direct way to report problems like this than posting in forums…

Choose 18. Bug reporting in the dropdown.
