+wifireman
Greetings. I just got the magellan directroute while i purchased my explorist 600. Now the directroute program wont start till you put in the CD-1 disk in the computer and it gets the data off of that. Is there a way to install that disk to my hard drive so I dont have to put in that disk everytime I want to use the program? Smokey Quote Link to comment

+Jamie Z
yes but its involves making a backup of your original cd and using a virtual drive. I don't use the CD when I use DR, and I don't use a virtual drive or did I make a backup of the CD. I don't recall the procedure, it involves using a hex editor and altering one of the files, but you can find detailed instructions on the Yahoo Meridian users group. Jamie Quote Link to comment
