gitarmac Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 What are the rules on signature cards, I'd like to collect them. I've only found 3 caches so far so I don't have a good idea how popular they are. The one cache had cards tucked into the log book. I had made one (I have a much improved version now!) and tucked mine in there too. I have a card in all three. I didn't know if that meant I could take a card or not so I didn't. I thought of leaving a few of mine in there but I didn't do that either. So how does one go about collecting them? That might be a good thread topic, like the pet picture thread. Quote
+TotemLake Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 Discussed in these following threads: Signature Items What Makes A Good Trade Item? Geo Coin Sig. Items - Marbles? Cache Card Signature Cards There's more, but that's what I found on the first page when doing FIND. Cheers! TL Quote
+Renegade Knight Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 I don't think there are any rules. The only thing I'd like to see on the card is the Geocachars moniker so I know who's card it is. Other than that I think the sky's the limit for design etc. The main advantage of a card is it's cheap. The main drawback of a card is that they can be REALLY cheap, off center, cut crooked etc. Quote
gitarmac Posted September 11, 2003 Author Posted September 11, 2003 Thanks, that's what I needed to know! I have my nickname on mine (moonpie) and plan to date them at the cache. Even the cheap off center ones would be neat to find, origional. Quote
+EScout Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 QSL Cards: QSL Shop Check out some of the QSL Card makers such as the above, or The QSL Man, etc. I have had some made for my home and club stations, and am designing one for myself/caches. Quote
