Guest HMF4
I'm new to this, but I'm thinking about giving it a spin... On the cache listings it shows - Waypoint: GC6774 What does that mean and what is it used for? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Guest Ron Streeter
When you put coordinates into a gps device you assign a name to them. Usually the name is up to six letters. The letters you are talking about were assigned by Jeremy (webmaster) to the cache you are reading about at that moment. You may enter those or other characters into your gps when you plug in the coordinates. If a cache is called "lucky" you could plug in that name when you entered the coordinates to your gps. It is up to you. Happy caching ! Quote Link to comment

Guest HMF4
I do have the datum set to WGS84. I have picked out two places to put caches down once I find one for myself... Thanks for the info! Quote Link to comment
