+tempestual
we'll be in truckee this thursday and friday and want to move the travel bug nessie eastward. the important thing is to find a cache that can hold a small stuffed animal (nessie) and is findable in winter. we're able to XC ski in to a location and dig in the snow if we can find the exact spot. +jeeplife
This time of year I'd recommend a quickie just off of I-80: Clipper Gap Travel Bug Depot There are others harder/more remote caches up near Truckee that could be a real adventure, but since this is a Travel Bug cache it gets a few more visits thus helping with Nessy's goal. TahoeJoe
You might have to do a little digging through the snow, but Iva-Kay Each-Bay would be a great spot to place a travel bug. It's one of the most popular and oldest caches in Tahoe. Quote Link to comment
TahoeJoe
My cache WOWEE is a great winter cache which is easy to get to in the winter (with snowshoes or cross country skis) and will require no digging through the snow and has plenty of room for travel bugs.
