It's not yet released but I really like this feature: Active waypoints Setup active waypoints to play a sound file when they are within a programmable range Have BeeLineGPS alert when you are near a geocache. +Greymane Posted February 3, 2005 Share Posted February 3, 2005 Memory-Map allows you to do the same thing. It has anchor alarms and proximity alarms you can assign to a waypoint / mark. For the proximity alarm, you tell it how far away to set and then it opens the attached file (not necessarily a sound) when you are within that range. It can be an audio file, picture, web page or any other file. The anchor alarm is kind of opposite. Designed for boats at anchor, if you drift beyond a certain distance from the waypoint / mark, it will warn you. Quote Link to comment
