+vds Posted January 7, 2005 Share Posted January 7, 2005 I'm likely going to be visiting Burlingame for a conference Sun-Wed 1/31-2/2 (near the airport) and was looking if there are any recommended 'must do' type caches for somebody who will be without a car. Looks like the closest is 'cal train burlingame' with a bunch of BART and cal train ones nearby. Any suggestions ? And the obligatory silly tourista question, assuming I want to jump on BART to visit some family in Walnut Creek without renting a car, do BART tickets give you on/off privileges if I work out a cache route along the way ? +bthomas Posted January 7, 2005 Share Posted January 7, 2005 Es Effo GCBC09 is in a park the borders SFO, on Old Bayshore Blvd by the Westin. In downtown Burlingame, I recall only the CalTrain in the adjacent park and a couple of virts (including one of mine). BART: You ticket in and out at the minimum fare. I'd suggest getting off BART at a location with density, like Embarcadero Station or Walnut Creek Station. Happy caching! Quote Link to comment
