Guest cva38bw
How do I change WGS84 to NAD83? I want to use my lat/long readings that are WGS84 in Mapblast, which are in NAD83. Thank You Quote Link to comment
Guest jeremy
For most purposes, they're pretty much the same. Here's an article on the topic - http://www.mentorsoftwareinc.com/resource/Nad83.htm Quote Link to comment
Guest cva38bw
Is there something a LOT easyier to understand? I don't have a profesor with me. Quote Link to comment
Guest jeremy
I guess what I meant is they're pretty much interchangeable (someone can correct me if I'm wrong here). Your WGS84 coordinate would be pretty darn close to NAD83. No need to convert it either way. Quote Link to comment
Guest cva38bw
I am new to this GPS and must be doing something all wrong.I put in something near Chicago,41.42/87.57 & ended up in China. Quote Link to comment
Guest jeremy
West and south are negative (coordinate wise) So N41.42/W87.57 would be 41.42/-87.57 That should work Quote Link to comment
