+greyhounder Posted November 25, 2004 Share Posted November 25, 2004 Hi! My 60 year old, physically disabled Mom has been doing a little geocaching with me and is starting to find it pretty fun! She had commented that if she had a GPSr of her own, she might be inclined to do even more geocaching. So I was thinking of maybe getting her a unit and a membership for a year for Christmas. I'd love to get her a really nice unit, but she has made many comments about how much she really liked my Geko 101 (that I lost). She wouldn't be the type that would care about uploading coordinates, so this unit would be okay for her. I checked eBay, and Gekos run pretty spendy there! I got my brother a little yellow eTrex from eBay at a great price a couple months ago, and this unit would okay for her too. Nothing too much more fancy though. So, thought I'd put the word out to you fine folks and see if you have any GPSrs that Mom would like! Thanks! Bec Quote Link to comment
