+Cocker Lovers
I have an Etrex vista which has a page which always gives the lat/long coordinates. I have been given a basic Etrex and the only way I can figure out how to get a position is to use the "mark" menu. Is that really it? -Sharon Quote Link to comment
+tirediron
Surprisingly enough, a quick tour through the manual seems to indicate that is the only way to see your current posit... Quote Link to comment
+KC Illini
I have the basic Etrex and here is how mine works to get the lat and long. Scroll through the pages until you get to the compass navigation page (the big circle with the arrow, etc). Mine defaults to showing the speed on the bottom (useless). From this page use the up / down selectors on the left side to scroll through what gets displayed on the bottom - options are like bearing, direction, average speed, etc. and one of those is coordinates.
