westwood Posted September 15, 2004 Share Posted September 15, 2004 Hi, I am very new to this, I just bought a Garmin Etrex Legend Color to do Geocaching with. I downloaded a few Waypoints from Geocache.com. When I go to transfer them to the Legend using The supplied Garmin Software,It does not seem to support the " .loc" Format. Then I tried to Download the "Free" EasyGPS, It does not support USB Transfers. Am I doing something wrong, or do I have to download one of those converters to change the ".loc" to a readable format. westwood Posted September 15, 2004 Author Share Posted September 15, 2004 Thank You Very Much, Its funny, when I downloaded the newest version it still would not let me select "USB" from the Comm Port options, It was grayed out, But if I selected your GPS 60CS , I was able to Check "Use USB" and it transfered perfectly to my eTrex Legend C.
