+user13371
Best price I can find online is $57 for a 512M or $113 for a 1 gig card. Any cheaper sources? Quote Link to comment
+Lucanos
Hi Lee, I've been looking about for SD Cards myself (for my PocketPC), both through online stores and through eBay. The prices you have found seem to be pretty good, in fact better than alot! Where'd you find them? Thanks Luke Quote Link to comment

robertlipe
Dealram is nice. If you're willing to play the rebate/sale game, watch http://www.techbargains.com for a few days. Just a few days ago, they listed 256's for $16 and 512's for $45 by stacking rebates, coupons, sales, and eye of newt. Quote Link to comment

D@mn! We're fresh out of eye of newt here. Did they offer any bargains on toad's tears or bat's wings? Quote Link to comment

+Lucanos
The only bastard of these places is that, for some reason, they don't want to ship these items overseas!! So us poor cachers in Australia are stuck running around with our WaxTablet PCs... Quote Link to comment

Is there an export opportunity here? If I buy up a couple dozen and ship 'em to you, can we make some profit? Of course, i'm not in it for the money - I'm just interetsed in helping out the poor oppressed wax-tablet users. Quote Link to comment

+Fizzfever
Sorry for that I was juggling kids at the time. I use CF for paperless caching. Quote Link to comment

With those kinds of prices I am sure that there would be more than enough room for a bit of a mark-up if you were to sell them here... Even the, supposedly cheaper, prices on eBay are quite high in comparison (and I personally don't like the idea of sending AU$200-$300 (US$140-$200) off to Honk Kong or wherever in the hopes I don't get ripped off!). Check out eBay yourself - if you can get these cards that cheap it may be a little money-spinner for you. Edited September 9, 2004 by Lucanos Quote Link to comment

J and R add That's the ticket, thanks! Even with the usual litany of rebate horror stories, $99 is a good price for a 1 gig card. If you can get the rebate (always a questionable proposition), it's even better. Quote Link to comment
+Ed & Julie
eBay has a 1gb sd card for $99 with free shipping. California folks (like me) pay tax. Not a bad deal. Edited September 14, 2004 by The Badge & the Butterfly Quote Link to comment

Not a good deal either Spot pricing at DealRam is a bit lower than that. I ended up ordering th 1 gig SanDisk SD card from J&R, at $99 with free shipping. It shipped and should be here by Friday. This is an okay price, but will be even better if they actually make good on their $30 rebate offer. Quote Link to comment
