I'm using both my Garmin 60C and LegendC and can only obtain 1 satellite today. Specifically satellite number 18. Had great locks yesterday, but today I'm getting nothing... Quote Link to comment

capt caper Posted August 30, 2004 Share Posted August 30, 2004 (edited) Also make sure your almanac is in good shape. You can always reset it and get it into a area with a clear view of the sky with Waas off and after a good fix turn the Waas on for 3/4 of an hr. to get that logged in good also. I had a 76s that got off to a bad start with an inital build by having some houses in the way and the almanc never did build right. No matter how long it was on. Once I reset it and brought it to a hill with 360 deg. view. it was fine. It's a computer. Sometimes you have to reset it and boot up right. Hope this helps.
