madaxeman
I recently retrieved a 'Geo-Coin' from a cache in the UK which is marked with the number '0310'. It appears to have originated in Oregon, USA. Its a copper coin which seems to have been issued by 'geocaching.com' Does anyone know how to log its movements from one cache to another ? There does not seem to be a facility to do this from within the 'geocaching.com' site Quote Link to comment
Team DEMP
If it's a USA Geocoin from the gc.com site, it should be logged into a cache just like any other travel bug. If it's a non-USA geocoin, you'll have to find the site that tracks it and log it there. Does the coin have a url on it? Quote Link to comment
madaxeman
The coin has 'birthplace of geocaching' - 'GC1' -'Oregon'- '0310' on one side and 'geocaching.com' on the other Quote Link to comment
Team DEMP
Does it look like the coin shown at http://www.usageocoins.com/ ? What cache did you get it from? Quote Link to comment
Navdog
Oregon geocoins can be tracked at oregongeocaching.com It might be good to place a small note/sticker on the coin container with the website url on it. Quote Link to comment
madaxeman
the coin looks very similar to that shown Quote Link to comment

Team DEMP
the coin looks very similar to that shown If it's an Oregon geocoin, go to http://www.cogeo.org/track/ and enter in 0310 in the box and hit ok. Is that the coin you found? Quote Link to comment
