moonpup Posted August 27, 2004 Share Posted August 27, 2004 Hi all, I have a LegendC with the US Topo Maps (Mapsource) installed. Since I spend a lot of time on Cape Cod in the summer, I wanted to be able to see the tide prediction tables. I've downloaded the US Tides software from Garmin and installed it. After copying the NorthEast Tide map to the LegendC all my topo maps were deleted. Can these 2 mapsets coexist or is it one or the other? Cheers! Quote Link to comment
peter Posted August 27, 2004 Share Posted August 27, 2004 Whenever you load new maps into Garmin receivers, the previously loaded maps are first erased. But you can load maps from multiple MapSource mapsets as long as you do it in one loading operation. Select all the maps you want from one mapset, then switch mapsets within MapSource on your PC and select those maps. Finally download all the maps from all mapsets to your GPS. Quote Link to comment
