Guest Guppy
First, does difficulty relate to how hard it is to actually see or find the cache when you are within say fifty feet or so? Or is it the overall difficulty? Second, There is a part of the trail where it's rather steep and rocky. Not so steep that you have to climb on all fours on the way up, but for me, at least, on the way down I sit and scoot a couple times. Would a 3.5 or 4 be a good terrain rating? Other than that one section the trail is fairly easy. Quote Link to comment
Guest Markwell
See this discussion forum... A lot of people having given some thought as to what consitutes difficulty and terrain. Based on your description - without seeing the cache and what the terrain actually looks like, I think it might be anywhere from 3.0 - 4.0. If I saw that kind of terrain, I would definitely leave my 5yo kid behind on this one, which is what you're looking for.
