Are there any Travelodge near by or can you recommend a good B&B or Hotel.Have got the Tourist Guide of Scarborough,Whitby etc but its nice to have a personal recommendation.This will be a long journey for me so would like somewhere nice.Many thanks. kitefan Posted July 9, 2004 Share Posted July 9, 2004 I do - I've also done a web site for Whitby which includes accommodation information: http://www.whitbyonline.co.uk If you stay in "The Beehive" you'll be very close to "Trip Trap" - which is my cache The Beehive in Newholm (2.1 miles away from Whitby) is excellent on occasion though the landlord can be rather rude - if you expect it to be a bit like Fawlty Towers then you'll have a good time. The venue, however, is one of the best in Whitby. The food (if they have any in) is usually excellent. Quote Link to comment
