My name was chosen for two reasons,firstly my mobile came with a screen saver with a mother duck followed by several baby ducks.Secondly I've been a foster mum for many years so its not unusual to see me with little ones following me hence Motherduck!!! My own children use Baby Ducks as there name but they are fighting to get a much cooler name now---------

Hi all,have got a nrw Garmin Etrex for xmas but I've deleted the first 5 waypoint numbers ie 001 -005 by mistake while trying to load the first co-ordinates is there any way to retrieve these or do I just load everything else from 006 onwards.The page I was on was Mark Waypoints. HNY to everyone. Now I've got a Gps hope to find many more caches this year. Also hope to hide a few in my home area Hereford as there is nothing at the moment,will print off all the relevent paper work to show local landowners to get permission.

Tell me about it!!!!!!!! I live in Herefordshire, why else would I do my caching in North Wales and Yorkshire!!! ( Only joking I love North Wales and spend quite some time up there.) Once I get my Gps for xmas (hopefully) I hope to place some caches near home.I live in the country and there are some lovely walks nearby .Have had the local regiment very close coming in by parachute and the helicopters come low over the house maybe they are looking for there secret caches.!!!!

Have had lovely big flakes of snow this morning in Herefordshire. I live about 5miles out of the city in the heart of the country and its very festive!!!! luckily the ground is too wet for it to stick just hope it doesn't freeze tonight .

Where on Ebay can I find Garmin Etrex? I've tried putting in Gps and Garmin but I keep getting nothing found. Also what cable do I need to get to conect it to my computer ( Windows 98!!)

Hoping to come up to Whitby in August,have just downloaded 25 possible caches but now have to find accomadation!! Are there any Travelodge near by or can you recommend a good B&B or Hotel.Have got the Tourist Guide of Scarborough,Whitby etc but its nice to have a personal recommendation.This will be a long journey for me so would like somewhere nice.Many thanks.

Is there an easy way to find out where the nearest caches are to me.I live in Herefordshire I've tried putting in my postcode but nothing came up.I did see a couple when I was flicking through but now I can't even find them,can you help?

When I find a cache what do I do next.I'll sign into the logbook if there is one,but how do I enter the find on the web page ? Have I missed where the form is on the site.

Have found this site over the weekend and I'm hooked....... Would like some advise on which GPS to go for ( can you get good second hand or should I go for new?) Have been reading the North Wales sites as I've done a lot of walking in that area and recognise many of the sites by the co-ordinates is it possible to do by map only to start with...............any help appreciated....motherduck
