+spindlewood
Although I have been using my GSP 60CS for a few weeks, I really am a novice when it comes to selecting suitable maps for use with my GPS. As I am operating in the UK, I understand that topo maps are not yet availiable and I would like like to see some more map detail on my GPS screen other than waypoints and the occasional major road. I use my 60CS for geocaching and hiking and am now considering buying Mapsource Roads and Recreation to download into it. Have I made the right choice? Quote Link to comment

I'm not sure whether Garmin has roads and recreation for the UK vicinity. What you might be most interested in is City Select Europe? Metroguide isn't designed to auto-route with the 60cs but the City Selects are supposed to be compatible. The North America version works well. Quote Link to comment
+Cave Troll and Eeyore
Yep there is UK Roads & Recreation map software for the 60CS. It will work ok but won't do autorouting unfortunately. Check out the UK forums for any further help you need. We don,t bite Quote Link to comment
