mrdiamond
While coming back from finding cache K4 (WGS84) near Bailey Colorado, we stumbled on what looks to be some sort of marker. Can anyone help me identify what is is and if a bechmark help me log it. It's in the middle of nowhere If someone will tell me how to send pictures I can include two Quote Link to comment
Kewaneh & Shark
Can you give us a description of what you found, or better yet, post the pictures in this thread. Coordinates of where you found it, or coords of the nearby cache would help too. - Kewaneh Quote Link to comment
1setter
There are about 20 benchmarks with 5 miles of K4 or "Krazy Keeko's Killer Kache". Even a distance and direction from the cache would help. Quote Link to comment
mrdiamond
Sorry for the delay.. The Coordinates I saw there was 39 24.079 105 30.983 Can you offer any help? Quote Link to comment
Black Dog Trackers
The only benchmark on the database that is near there is KK0739, and it is 9/10 of a mile away, so very likely isn't what you found. KK0739 has the designation "U 305 1951" stamped on it. What you found has to say that, or it isn't KK0739. There are thousands of survery markers of various kinds including disks that are not in the GC.com database because they are not in the NGS database. You cannot log them. Here is the search page, and in it, click on "Other search options" to get to the coordinates search mode, which is what I used. Quote Link to comment
