SirPoonga Posted May 10, 2004 Share Posted May 10, 2004 I've put up my GPS III+ for auction, but am willing to trade for it too. It works but the antenna went bad. The locknut that held on the antenna mount got loose. The internal wire that went from the antenna to the circuit board twisted and ruined the the circuit board part. I tried scraping off the circuit coating and soldering to it with no luck. Maybe you chave an idea on how to fix... It comes with MapSource software, handlebar mount, homemade data cable, homemade power pigtail. If trading I'd love a simple gps unit, can even be old.
