+Klatch Posted April 23, 2004 Share Posted April 23, 2004 I just received my Weekly Cache Notification and although it says "Recent caches in your area..." some of the caches in this report are hundreds of miles away at the other end of the state. Since the direction and distance information is not included anymore, I would need to look at cache pages which I would never seek to find. Any chance you will restore this data to the report? Otherwise I probably will stop receiving it. Link to comment

Elias Posted April 23, 2004 Share Posted April 23, 2004 That's really strange. We haven't made any code changes to our Emailer program in months. The Emailer uses the "best" information it has available from your profile; the more specific information the better. So a zipcode is better than a state, and a home coordinate is better than a zipcode. If after adding a home coordinare you're still getting unexpected results, send me an email at admin at Groundspeak dot com and I'll be happy to look into this further. Elias Link to comment
