Outlaw9023 Posted March 29, 2004 Share Posted March 29, 2004 I'm trying to put together a "1st Ever Annual" event out here in the Big Bend country of West Texas. Been doing a bit of research on geocaching and I really haven't found anything that approaches what we're trying to put together. Idea is to establish a number of prize caches scattered in the roundabout of this area. From simple one or two waypoints for a smaller prize up to a Grand Prize that will really test your GPS ability! (Tentative Grand Prize is 10 acres of land) We hope to make this a two or three day event over the Memorial Weekend this year (2004). Although I'm new the the sport of geocaching, I'm fairly well versed in GPS usage. I use it almost daily in my business, locating survey points on properties out here in the great unknown!! Just curious if there would be any interest in an event of this nature??? Suggestions are welcome!! Thanks!! Quote Link to comment
