+SomewhereInND
There is an old abandoned strip mine near me that is currently managed by the ND Game & Fish. It is a very rugged/interesting area, and I want to hold a geocaching event there next year. I need ideas for soime events here are some of the things I have thought of: I am in the process of contacting the Game&Fish Dept, to see if the following is ok, and to see if they have a need for a volunteer group to do something in the area. CITO event, but there is not much trash in the area. Trail maintance. Introduce people to bench mark hunting. BBQ/Potlock, etc... Overnight camping Bon fire. Bug swap New caches Quote Link to comment
+The SuzyQs
At the last event we attended, we played GeoBINGO. Where eveyone had a bingo sheet with differnt aspect of cache hunting in the squares, then you had to go around and ask people if any of the items pertained to them then they could sign one square only. Nice ice breaker and way to met everyone there. Quote Link to comment
