Strip Search

Is there a way to search for caches along a defined strip. ie..Set a starting coord and an ending coord and search for caches a certain distance either side of this defined line. I've often wanted something like this when taking a trip to hunt for caches along the way.

You can set Pocket Queries up along your route and use Watcher to eliminate caches you don't want to do.

 

You can also use the geocaching maps to identify caches along the route and print their pages. You'll need to pan the length of the route, which could take a long time depending on how far you're going and how far off the Interstate you want to cache.

With ExpertGPS, you can draw your route on the map, then import your caches from a pocket query. Finally, you can search for a subset of caches within a specified distance of your drawn route.
