+toybreaker
Good morning (at least here in Vegas), I am looking for some guidance as to the best setup for my axim. I think I know GPXSonar for sure but need hardware advice. Are there any quality Compact Flash GPS units for Pocket PC 2003. I have found some but can not find opinions or epinions about any of em. This lost soul could use a lil GPS Guidance. Oh yeah, What is the difference between GPS and GPSr? Thanks all Rob Quote Link to comment
Mythos
I suggest you visit www.aximsite.com and check their forum. There is no better place for Axim information. Quote Link to comment
+_canadianbacon_
I picked up the GlobalSat BC-307 on ebay. Easily had for under $100 (if lucky around $70). Words very well with both Mapopolis and MS-Streets Pocket PC Versions. Came with CF to PCMCIA Converter (so you can run on laptop too) and an external antenna (which I never needed in teh car, when mounted on a vent mount it worked very well without the external). Search ebay for CF GPS or the BC-307, there are many for sale. Quote Link to comment
+Rosco Bookbinder
Oh yeah, What is the difference between GPS and GPSr? GPS stands for Global Position Something or other. GPSr stands for Global Postition Something or other RECEIVER. I think that should clear it up Quote Link to comment
