+M_an_M Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 Hey all - I just submitted my paypal transaction for a yearly premium membership and got the email from paypal with the receipt code (the S-SOMETHINGOROTHER number). The only problem is that when I enter the code to get activated, it says the number isn't in the sytem yet. Do I need to wait for an email directly from GC.com before I get activated ... what's going on here? I went to Paypal and noticed the $30 transaction won't be cleared until Dec. 15th (even though Im a verified member) ... is that how long I'll have to wait before I get activated? Anyone else go through this? Thx in advance ~Max

+fivegallon Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 I received my subscription notice within minutes of firstly activating a paypal account,and then making the payment. Not sure why they should put yours on hold ??

If it says eCheck it is deducting funds from your bank account. Those transactions are delayed until they clear. Credit card orders are immediate.
+M_an_M Posted December 15, 2003 Author Posted December 15, 2003 OK, I waited the 5 days, checked paypal and it says payment cleared, but the subscription ID still doesnt work. It gives em the following error: Error: That subscription number was not found in the system. You may already be activated. Visit your my cache page and view your profile as others see you to see if you are listed as a premium member. I checked already to see if I was a member and I couldn't open a member-only cache. Does it usually take this long to get activated??
