Guest Pat in Louisiana
Just a reminder. BUG SPRAY and PLASTIC don't mix. Messed up my Binoculars and almost messed up my GPSR. ------------------ Pat in Louisiana 30:27:13.392N 91:02:55.054W I never get lost! I simply investigate alternate destinations! Guest Snowtrail
And you can leave your mace at home! The all new and improved OFF brand repellant keeps the critters away! Just kidding, don't try this. I was spraying it in my backyard and the wind caught the mist and accidentally sprayed the cat. She didn't like it too much. Quote Link to comment
Guest Markwell
I did my eight cache day with 100% deet sparingly applied at the first site. Yuck. However, after eight caches and many treks into the woods, no ticks, and one mosquito bite on my cheek (I didn't apply the deet there). Won't use it on my kids, but it really made that day enjoyable. Guest cabingirl
We use that 100% DEET too, against my better judgment. I find it sticky and a little scary, although I don't seem to have brain damage yet. It does work really well, though. Quote Link to comment
