I attended a public meeting last night regarding the new forest service plan for Southern California forests (Specifically, San Bernardino Nat'l forest, but they are having, or have had similar meetings for all the national forests in Southern California.). While geocaching wasn't specifically mentioned they are addressing all types of forest access issues in the new plan and now would probably be a good time to voice your concerns.

Aaah. I was under the impression that it was just California's plan that was currently up for review. I could be mistaken.

I'm assuming it's nationwide because there were review workshops in KY where I rock climb last Nov. It's something they are to do every 10 or 15 years.
