+coast2coast2coast Posted September 30, 2003 Share Posted September 30, 2003 I would like to give the approvers (one in particular...cache-advance...)2 thumbs WAY up I have heard lots of people slag the approvers in here. I would like to tell you a good approver story...I had an idea for a series of micros that would lead you to a traditional cache...I wasn't sure of the legality (geocaching.com wise)of the whole idea so I emailed an approver that had worked on an earlier cache of mine...six emails later I submitted the caches for approval and held my breath...This morning they were all approved...I think the reason they all got approved IMHO is that I emailed the approver BEFORE I posted my caches...It may sound like commonsense but had I not checked with him first the caches would never have been approved...there are still some "grey" areas in this game so my advice is to get all the questions you have about your cache answered before you post it as you may save yourself heartache later. Like anything else there are good and bad approvers. I've had good experience with approvers like mtn-man.
