Guest Doppler
Well, rats. I tried to stop in to say hi, but I was promptly booted out. What the heck does being "K-Lined" mean? Sounds painful... ------------------ -- John Doppler Quote Link to comment

Guest LazyLeopard
quote:What the heck does being "K-Lined" mean? Usually that the server you're trying to use has been configured to ban users from your domain/ISP/IP address block or some-such. First step is to try another server, as it may be you're just tickling a particular server's sensibilities. There's a list of servers on the Open Projects website. Another possibility is that your machine is failing a scan for open proxies, and at that point you are being thrown off. Server operators don't like certain types of proxies being run on client machines because they open up gaping security holes allowing mis-use of the server. ------------------ Purrs...
