Thanks Proixen, I've read some good things about the 330. Is the only diff. btw. the Marine & non-marine versions..the one you noted (shipping w/ the CD)? I'm going to the mall today and I plan on "test-driving" the 330. It seems to offer all the acessories that I want for a reasonable price. Is there anyone else that's used (uses) the 330 and has an opinion on it? Also whats a good store to buy a GPS from?

(I meant to put this in the "GPS Recomendations?" thread, but I goofed and this thing wont let me delete the post. Sorry.)

The 330

  • base map does not have waterway navaids
  • comes with the PC data cable (no power cable)
  • comes with a COUPON to mail away for streets CDROM

the 330M (M stands for Marine)

  • base map has waterway navaids, buoys, floats, wrecks, etc
  • come with the PC data cable (no power cable)
  • has the CDROM in the box

Stores? I bought mine at Sports Authority and I bought the combo Power/Dat cable at Eastern mountain Sports (EMS)

How waterproof is the 330M?...I know (it floats!) But in your daily use have you tested in rain, etc...if so everything still working fine?
