Guest Seth!
I just tried to used html tags in my log entry. It looked fine in the preview page, but got screwed up by the time it was on the geocache page. Does anyone know if there is something I might have done wrong? (e.g. is there a different method for making tags in log entries) Quote Link to comment
Guest Prime Suspect
Log entries are heavily scrubbed before being added to the database. At one time (may still be true), you couldn't even use a double quote (") character. Personally, I don't mind too much. If just one log has screwed up html, it can trash the entire page. And I really don't care to see a bunch a signature gif's on the log pages either. Quote Link to comment
Guest arffer
The only pseudo-html logs allow is that they will recognize a link that starts with http:// (and possibly also just www.). Quote Link to comment
Guest ClayJar
I just started using anchors in my cache logs so that I can link directly to http://blahblahblah?ID=0000#anchor to go right to the particular post. Quote Link to comment
