HJS
I read a while back in a thread where someone talked about moving waypoints between files. Talked about opening both files and then dragging or copying the waypoint into the other file. I tried that and it didn't seem to work for me. Any pointers?? Quote Link to comment
+RoscoP
It does work, but you do have to be careful when you 'grab' the highlighted waypoints. Make sure you click on the text then drag them over. I still sometimes seem to miss it though. Quote Link to comment
azog
That might have been me. are you running the Groundspeak version of EasyGPS? I think it's a special version. I don't know if that feature is any different from the one at easygps.com Anyways, what I do is just use the Open command to open multiple files. You'll have tabs on the bottom of the screen to show that there is more than one file open. The select Window, Tile, and it should allow you to drag one to another. here's a shot of how I often set up my screen when doing this: http://www.azog.org/easygps.jpg ---------- One banana, two banana, three banana, four. Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more. Quote Link to comment
HJS
Thanks Azog, works just like you said. Here is where I screwed up! I think I had EasyGPS open twice and one file in each. Transfer didn't work, but as you describe it it works fine. Thanks Quote Link to comment
