lucho
I am not interested too much in GPS with maps since they are not to accurate. Was wondering any recommendations for a GPS unit that can be used to track runs, 2 mile runs, 1/4 mile runs, pace, distance etc. What would be a good unit. Also want it for bike trips. If I were to get one with a map what would you guys recommend? Thanks alot. I am so ready to buy. Luis Quote Link to comment
+Team Lyons
Unless you have new roads that have been built within the last year the mapsource maps that come with the Garmin V are dead on the money. I use them at work (I'm a truck driver) and on my motorcycle and I couldn't be happier. Quote Link to comment
dweebe
A coworker of mine has the following and loves it; uses the GPSr on almost all of his runs. http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/602-6663002-2363815?asin=B00006J6U1 Quote Link to comment
able2ru
The Garmin Rino120 has maps, a FRS radio and does have a stopwatch/lap timer and can show how far you have ran and ave speed and so forth. if you are motorcycling with friends, you can keep in touch with the FRS radio and see where they are too.
