+BeachBuddies
Hi -- I have Magellan Meridian Platinum, and would like to get some software that lets me move data from the GPS to my PC. I expected this to be bundled with the GPS, but apparently not. Specifically, I would like to transfer my track history points. Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks! -J Quote Link to comment
Atilla the Pun
You can get the Magellan software for the MeriPlat at the bottom of this page. Geobuddy and EasyGPS are two 3rd party packages that will let you transfer your tracks (I think) and waypoints to your PC. AtP Quote Link to comment
+RAD Dad
The program you want is called Datasend, it is available free for download at Magellans site. Quote Link to comment
+infosponge
I use ExpertGPS for this. It's not free, but it's worth every penny (and then some). It lets you manage waypoints, tracks, routes on the GPS, as well as making maps (both topo and sattelite photo). It downloads waypoints from Geocaching.com just like the free EasyGPS too. CountryLover
I posted a similar question on April 4th and There were suggestions to use a couple of software. I've found one of them, GPSTrackMaker particularly good. Allows you to manage tracks, waypoints and routes as well as use scanned maps and its free. See my post on April 4th for the details.
