Satellite overload?

Recommended Posts

Guest Benis

just wondering with the users of GPS increasing exponentially, will the satellites be overloaded. Which includes but not limited to delay of service or denial of service.

This won't be a problem. The signal is sent only from the satelite to the GPS receiver, nothing is transmitted back to the satelite from yoiur handheld GPS. Similar to your local radio station never being overloaded if everyone turns on their car radios at once. icon_wink.gif
