+Team Cahoon
I have a Magellan 315 and after researching forums (old & new) learned about the Auto-Averaging problem. (where if you move to slow it averages where you were, not where you are currently, and how to do the HULA DANCE to set it right). At www.magellangps.com they have a software upgrade V3.15 for the 315 & 320 where the following fix has been added: "The speed at which the unit starts position averaging has been reduced to 0.2 meters/second." Has anyone upgraded or have a unit with this version? Will it fix the problem? Comments, suggestions (other than buying another brand). Thanks Olliver J. Rookie GPS Quote Link to comment

+Team Cahoon
I didn't find that thread when I was looking late last night. It looks like 3.15 is pretty good and most people(with the exception of Gloom) had good luck with it. Thanks for pointing out the thread. Gotta go order that cable and get that software downloaded. JasonW
Don't forget batteries with at least 50% in them or you might be gloomy too. Quote Link to comment
