+jollybgood Posted September 8, 2003 Posted September 8, 2003 This could apply to other GPS units as well. Even Digital cameras I suppose. Whenever I have to change the batteries in my GPSV I have to squint because my poor old eyes have trouble distinguishing those itty bitty + and - symbols embedded on the side of thebattery housing. I'm always afraid I'll put them in backwards. Here's a solution. Sharpen a yellow crayon and rub it over each symbol. You want to fill the recess with wax. Then take a Q-tip and wipe away the excess. Looks like professional work. Now those + and - signs will scream out at you like pips on a pair of dice. ;D Jolly R.
