WDP
Noticed a little (big) problem with the new 2.30 firmware release. A lot of the roads in this area are not included in the City Select mapping. When navigating to a point off the detail map, my V will get to the closest point on the mapped road and indicate total distance to the waypoint. If I travel past this indicated turn off to an unmapped road the V will recalculate every second and no amount of button pushing will stop the recalculate function. The only way out is to turn it off and then procede in off road after restarting the unit. Has anyone noticed this or figured out a way around it? Is there some way to automatically change to off road when I leave the mapped area? Thanks. WDP Quote Link to comment
+Tahoe Skier5000
Sounds like a bug to me. I haven't experienced that with my V yet... You should report it to Garmin. ----------------------------------------------------------- Garmin V Garmin III+ Quote Link to comment
