+Big Doggie and Lil Pup
I recently got GPS Pro along with the connector cables and while I can move waypoints from my yello, Garmin eTrex I do not know how to get the Geocaching.com downloads onto the eTrex. The checked box/downloaded files are saved as a .loc onto my computer and I can't find a way to get the waypoints onto my eTrex. Can someone give me hints or walk me through this via a reply? Thanks, Big Dog -Happy Geocaching Big Doggie and Li'l Pup Quote Link to comment
+BigNick
In MacGPSPro select "Utilities->Convert XML LOC file to Waypoints or Routes..." then browse to your geocaching .loc file. You will then get a dialog that lets you limit the waypoints to a specific area (normally just leave it at the defaults), the next dialog prompts you for a file to save the converted file to (this is a MacGPSPro WP file), normally I will just select the "To Map Only" option, which will just plonk them onto the map. Then upload to your eTrex the same way as you have been doing ("Transfer->To GPS->Waypoints...") Cheers Nick. Quote Link to comment
