ricnic
Is anyone using the Belkin USB to serial adapter along with osX on their Mac? I'm temped to get a Belkin adapter because they are so plentiful and cheap on eBay. First and foremost though, I want an adapter that works. Anybody have experience with these? Thanks! Can say about the Belkin. Never used one. But if you're looking for a recommendation I would steer you toward the iogear UC232A. Usually runs for 22 bucks or so. Last time I was at Best Buy they caried them. The Iogear is about the smallest adpater out there (about half the size of the Keyspan adapter) and works flawlessly for me. One important note -- you don't install the MAC drivers on the iogear. You install the windows drivers via VPC. I highly reocommend this one. Jolly R.
